SHRI RAMCHARAN (SUNDAR) PANDIT MEMORIAL CARROM TOURNAMENT-2020: 2016

History of the Tournament

It was started in 2009. Since then, the SRSPM Badminton tournament has been successfully organized every year. Shri Vijaynarayan R Pandit, the President of Organizing Committee, is the MOTIVATOR of this mega event in Kalyan. The main aim of the tournament is to make BADMINTON popular in new generation which is responsible for not only good health but also for positive thinking. Late Shri Ramcharan (Sunder) Pandit was an excellent sportsman, sports-lover and sports-promoter in Kalyan. Therefore, the Organizing Committee has decided to give his name to this annual amateur tournament. The tournament is sponsored by 'YASHOSUNDAR' SAU. M J PANDIT CHARITABLE TRUST and K M AGRAWAL COLLEGE, KALYAN.

In 2020, New Org. Comm. has been formed to organize Carrom Tournament-2020 in the memory of late Shri Ramcharan (Sundar) Pandit Jee.

Badminton Tournament started

Shri Ramcharan (Sundar) Pandit Memorial Badminton Tournament began on yesterday 20th January. A large no of participants of age group Under 11/14 Years boys played till 9.00pm. Today, the matches of Under 11/14 Years Girls are still going on at 5.15pm. It will be a very hard task to our Match Coordinator and Tournament Incharge Mr Sawale Sir to take it upto the Finals. All the participants and their parents have expressed their happiness not only for the proper conduction of the Matches but also for the hospitality provided to them by the Organizing Committee.
