History of the Tournament

It was started in 2009. Since then, the SRSPM Badminton tournament has been successfully organized every year. Shri Vijaynarayan R Pandit, the President of Organizing Committee, is the MOTIVATOR of this mega event in Kalyan. The main aim of the tournament is to make BADMINTON popular in new generation which is responsible for not only good health but also for positive thinking. Late Shri Ramcharan (Sunder) Pandit was an excellent sportsman, sports-lover and sports-promoter in Kalyan. Therefore, the Organizing Committee has decided to give his name to this annual amateur tournament. The tournament is sponsored by 'YASHOSUNDAR' SAU. M J PANDIT CHARITABLE TRUST and K M AGRAWAL COLLEGE, KALYAN.
In 2020, New Org. Comm. has been formed to organize Carrom Tournament-2020 in the memory of late Shri Ramcharan (Sundar) Pandit Jee.

first day of the tournament

The first day of the tournament "SHRI RAMCHARAN (SUNDAR) PANDIT MEMORIAL AMATEUR BADMINTON-2013" was grand and successful. It was inaugurated by The Chairman of Organizing Committee, Mr Shantaram H Bhoir in presence of President Shri Vijaybhai Panditjee and Secretary Shri Om Prakash ( Munna) Pande jee. All matches of  UNDER 14/17/19 YRS GIRLS have been completed by 6.00pm. The no of Total participants and WINNERS and RUNNERS of each cotegory will be available on this blog very soon.
